About this Event
Sweet Lorraine celebrates the life of Jordan Temple's grandmother and best friend, Lorraine Temple. Jordan tells the story of her life through jokes, stories and one act plays pulled from his fondest memories with her. Through this performance, her grandson hopes to show you how special their bond was and hopefully remind you of your relationship with your own grandmother.

Jordan Temple is a comedian and Emmy-nominated TV writer who has written for Atlanta and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and is currently a writer and producer for Abbott Elementary. He has performed his stand up on Conan, Comedy Central, and at Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Jordan is also a playwright known for mashup plays such as Hidden Fences and The Color Urkel, which both made debuts at New York Comedy Festival in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
This performance is part of The Elysian’s VIP: VERY IN PROGRESS programming.
