Written and directed by Wes Anderson, "The Phoenician Scheme" (2025) is a dark comedy thriller about a ruthless international arms dealer who survives multiple assassination attempts and appoints his long-estranged daughter, a novitiate nun, as the successor to his business empire. The ensemble cast includes Benicio del Toro, Mia Threapleton, and Michael Cera.
