DOCUMENTARY SYNOPSIS:
Nearly two decades ago, a young Wade Radford led a team to the Busby Stoop Inn to make a feature-length documentary about Thomas, ‘The Busby Chair’, and the Paranormal goings-on in Thirsk. The documentary was never officially released, and over time the original master tapes went missing!
In Spring 2024 Wade released his book ‘Busby & Me’, even attracting the attention of the Metro Newspaper with his bold statement that he’d ‘caught a ghost voice on camera’. As if by destiny a few months after the book’s release, Wade found ALL the original 8mm tapes from the investigation in an attic down South - missing for seventeen years!
Join him as he returns to Thirsk to unpack the legends, myths, and changing faces of the Busby Legacy while presenting restored footage from his original documentary for the first time.
Screening for one night ONLY at The Ritz Cinema, in Thirsk; the showing of the brand new documentary will be followed by a Q&A panel with those involved in the production.
Doors open: 6.30 pm
Screening Time: 7.00 pm
Q&A: 8.30 pm
Wade will participate in the Q&A at the event, and exclusive merchandise, including the original published book, will be available.
