Most communities have their own traditions, peculiarities and dialects. Many of these originated in early history and have often been preserved in pictorial, written and oral histories. This talk gives examples of these traditions (often humorous) and puts them into the context of village and town life.Doors open at 1pm for a 1.30-pm start.
