We must act now to safeguard our cultural practices, traditions, and nature. This exhibition is our first grand step toward change. Together, we can create opportunities for artisans, redefine craft’s place in modern life, and build a sustainable future.
!Let’s create an impact together!
For generations, families in Rishipara have handcrafted bamboo kitchenware, but today, they struggle to find a market for their work. Through Gunoboti, we are bringing their timeless craft to the urban market. Gunoboti is more than a brand—it is a movement. Rooted in Bangladesh’s rich heritage and culture, we are a design cultivation community dedicated to empowering traditional artisans, craft enthusiasts, and trained designers. Through knowledge-sharing and product innovation, we ensure that our crafts and artisans thrive in today’s world. Handicrafts are not just decorative pieces but a part of our daily lives. It's high time we embrace them as functional, sustainable, and integral to our culture. Our mission is to sustain intergenerational knowledge transfer, honour the cultural creativity of Bangladeshi women, and ensure financial inclusion—essential for sustainability and our deep connection with nature.
Why This Exhibition?
This exhibition marks a pivotal moment in Gunoboti’s journey. With the vision of establishing Gunoboti as a Bangladeshi lifestyle brand, we are proud to officially introduce 'Rannaghorer Onushongo'—our inaugural bamboo kitchenware product line. These products, crafted meticulously by artisans from Faridpur Rishipara (an artisan community), pay homage to our rich heritage. It’s realy fascinating that similar products are used across Bangladesh, each with contextually different names, techniques, and materials.
Through this exhibition, we will connect environmentally conscious and culturally aware individuals with our work to safeguard cultural practices. Your presence will support artisans in Rishipara, provide training for new-generation craft makers, and establish a lasting urban market presence.
