The main theme of Shilar Jinnat is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in Sanskrit: वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्) which means "The World Is One Family".
Shilar Jinnat is a play about Ismail who is a passionate clay artist. To him, his art is worship. Poverty, socio-religious obstacles, family responsibilities; nothing can come between him and his creativity. His dreams fill him with divine shapes and forms, which he desperately wants to capture in clay. Are these visions merely his fantasy or do they have a deeper link to his past? Urukku Manush’ directed by Tanmay Ghosh is the story of a boy named Pratik, who loves to live in the world of his imagination.
