التسجيل: فضلا التسجيل في أحد مواقع التصفيات التالية أثناء عملية التسجيل تنبيه: في حال عدم إكتمال نصاب التسجيل بتسع متسابقين والتحكيم بأربع حكام في أي منطقة سيتم تحويل المتسابقين إلى المنطقة الأقرب تقام التصفيات بتاريخ 20 يوليو في:

Winners will compete in the finals on July 27th at Idmi in Riyadh

سيتم ارسال ايميل لجميع المتسابقين قبل موعد التصفيات باسبوع لاستلام القهوة المخصصة للتدريب، وسيتم مشاركة القرعة وتوقيت بداية الجولات قبل موعد التصفيات بيوم واحد.

الشروط والتعليمات أدناه قابلة للتعديل فضلا متابعتها لأي تحديثات وإشعارات يلزم إستخدام الإسم الحقيقي ومشاركة الايميل ورقم جوال صحيح للتأكد من المعلومات ويتم إستبعاد من يقدم معلومات خاطئة. يلزم تقديم إثبات الهوية عند الحضور للمطابقة على الإسم لإستلام عينة من قهوة المسابقة

You are responsible to check your email as you will receive an email a week before the Qualifying round to collect sample of competition coffee, and you will receive another email of the Draw and Rounds starting time a day before Qualifying

بطولة العالم للإيروبرس هي منافسة دولية سنوية تتميز بخفة الروح والتركيز على طعم القهوة فقط بدون أي معايير أخرى. وسيتم دعم بطل المملكة للمشاركة وتمثيلنا في بطولة العالم والتي ستقام 2024 في لشبونة، البرتغال 19 سبتمبر

المسابقة

• شروط وصيغة المسابقة تتميز بالبساطة عمدا وتهدف إلى مسابقة سريعة وخفيفة وممتعة

• هدف المسابقة إستكشاف إمكانيات أداة الإيروبرس وإستخداماتها

• الأهم الإستمتاع ونشر ثقافة القهوة المختصة

• تختلف المسابقة عن بطولة الباريستا المعروفة بشروطها الدقيقة والإهتمام بتفاصيل كثيرة. الأهم في بطولة الإيروبرس هو طعم القهوة لا غير

صيغة المسابقة

• تقام المسابقة على عدة جولات من التصفيات بتقدم فائز من كل جولة

• لكل متسابق خمس دقائق

• في كل جولة يتنافس ثلاث متسابقين بنفس الوقت ويتم تقديم قهوتهم باكواب مماثلة لطاولة من ثلاث حكام

• يقوم الحكام بتقييم القهوة بدون معرفة كوب المتسابق لتحديد القهوة الأفضل

• بعد العد إلى ثلاثة يقوم الحكام بالإشارة بنفس الوقت للكوب الفائز

• يتقدم الفائز للجولة التالية ويخرج المتنافسين الآخرين من المنافسة

التحكيم

• يتم تحكيم كل جولة من قبل ثلاث حكام لا يعرفون كوب المتسابق ويكون الإسم مكتوبا أسفل الكوب

• بعد تقييم كل حكم للقهوة المقدمة من المتسابقين يتم العد ويشير كل حكم للكوب الفائز بمعيار "هذا الكوب الذي أرغب بشربه أكثر"

• الحكام يبحثون عن الرائحة الجميلة والنكهة الممتعة والحلاوة الواضحة والحمضبة المتزنة والقوام الجيد ونهاية الطعم

• لا ينبغي للحكام الحديث بينهم قبل إعلان نتيجة الجولة

• بعد إعلان الفائز بالجولة يقوم المقدم برفع الكوب الفائز وقراءة إسم الفائز أسفل الكوب

• عند إختيار كل حكم لكوب مختلف يقوم حكم رابع بتحديد الفائز

المعدات والمكونات

• سيقوم المنظمون بتوفر القهوة ومياه مفلتره للمسابقة لكن يحق للمتسابقين إستخدام الماء المفضل لديهم

• أي تعديل على أداة الإيروبرس يتطلب إذن مسبق من المنظمين ولجنة التحكيم قبل المسابقة

• جميع أنواع الفلاتر مسموحة بما فيها الفلاتر المعدنية

قوانين بطولة الايروبريس

القانون #1

يجب استخدام الأداتين التالية فقط:

- أداة الايروبريس النسخة العادية الشهيرة Original

- ⁠أداة الايروبريس الشفافة Clear

ولا يُسمح باستخدام اي من أدوات الايروبريس الاخرى مثل:

- أداة ايروبريس GO

- ⁠أداة ايروبريس XL

- ⁠أداة ايروبريس Premium

- ⁠غطاء تحكم التدفق Flow Control Filter Cap

القانون #2

يجب استخدام جميع الأجزاء الثلاثة لأداة الايروبريس; الحجرة، والمكبس، وغطاء الترشيح. غير مسموح استخدام أي أجزاء غير اصلية او مقلدة.

القانون #3

يمكن استخدام أي نوع من الفلاتر، طالما انه لا يحل محل غطاء المرشح نفسه (كما موضح في القانون 2). يمكن أن يكون المرشح مصنوعًا من الورق، او المعدن، او القماش، او أي مادة اخرى.

القانون#4

يسمح باستخدام الأدوات الخارجية مثل المطاحن والغلايات والموازين وأدوات التقليب والملاعق والمؤقتات ومقاييس الحرارة وحوامل تحضير القهوة والمناخل ومنفاخ الهواء وأدوات التوزيع والتبريد باستخدام الكرات المجمدة.

القانون #5

القهوة المطحونة والماء هي المكونات الخارجية الوحيدة المسموح بها.

القانون #6

يُسمح للمتسابق بالتخفيف بعد الاستخلاص بأي درجة حرارة وتشمل الثلج.

القانون #7

سيتم تحديد قهوة للمنافسة، وستكون هي القهوة الوحيدة التي يمكن استخدامها.

القانون #8

يمكن للمتسابقين استخدام 18 قرام من القهوة كحد أقصى في وصفتهم.

القانون #9

يجب على المتسابقين تحضير ما لا يقل عن 150 مل من القهوة.

القانون #10

لن يتم التحكيم على أي قهوة لم يتم تقديمها في غضون 5 دقائق من بداية وقت التحضير.

القانون #11

قد يؤدي عدم الامتثال لأي مما ورد اعلاه إلى الاستبعاد من المنافسة.

The World AeroPress Championship is about building community, making friends, and celebrating coffee. At its heart, the WAC exists to bring coffee-loving people together and focus on the taste of the coffee and only the taste in an open, inclusive, and fun environment with one important rule which is to have fun and the winner will be named the Saudi Arabia Aeropress champion and will be sponsored to represent Saudi Arabia at the world Aeropress championship in Lisbon, Portugal on the 19 September.

Competition Rules

FORMAT

1. The competition is a multi-round, elimination tournament.

2. In each round, three competitors brew coffee simultaneously.

3. Competitors have 5 minutes in which to prepare, brew, and present their coffee.

4. When the time is up, the coffees are presented in identical vessels to a panel of three judges.

5. The judges blindly evaluate each coffee and make their own private assessment as to which is the best.

6. On the count of three, all judges simultaneously point to their preferred coffee.

7. The winner progresses to the next round. The losers are eliminated.

Aeropress Championship Rules:

RULE #1

The brewer used must be a genuine AeroPress Original or AeroPress Clear No other brewer may be used in the drink preparation, Other versions of AeroPress Coffee Makers, including but not limited to Go, XL, Premium, and the Flow Control Filter Cap, are not permitted in the competition.

RULE #2

All three parts of a genuine AeroPress brewer must be used; the chamber, the plunger, and the filter cap. Aftermarket or non-genuine parts are not allowed.

RULE #3

Any type of filter is allowed, so long as it does not replace the filter cap itself (see rule #2). The filter can be made out of paper, metal, cloth, or any other material.

RULE #4

Accessories that aid in coffee brewing, such as grinders, kettles, decanters, scales, stirrers, spoons, timers, thermometers, brewer stands, sifters, air blowers, RDT (Ross Droplet Technique) tools, WDT (Weiss Distribution Technique) tools, chilling rocks (frosty balls), and water dispersion aids are allowed for use in competition.

RULE #5

Ground coffee and water are the only ingredients allowed.

RULE #6

Competitors may add bypass water of any temperature or ice to their brewed coffee.

RULE #7

A coffee will be selected for the competition, and will be the only coffee that can be used.

RULE #8

Competitors may use a maximum of 18g of roasted coffee in their recipe.

RULE #9

Competitors must prepare a minimum of 150ml of brewed coffee.

RULE #10

Coffees not presented within the time limit of 5 minutes will not be evaluated.

RULE #11

Failure to comply with any of the above may result in disqualification.

JUDGING

1. Each round is judged blind using the cupping technique of spoon, slurp, and spit.

2. Competitor’s names will be marked on the underside of the cups where they are completely hidden.

3. There is no scoresheet or formal judging criteria. Judges are simply answering: “Which cup would I prefer to drink all of?"

4. Each judge will arrive at their own conclusion, without discussing the samples with their fellow judges.

5. On the count of three, all judges will point simultaneously, confidently, and definitively at the cup of their choosing.

6. After judging, the MC will lift the winning cup, revealing the name of the glorious round winner, while simultaneously shaming the losers.

7. In the event of all three judges pointing at different cups, the MC or a pre-determined Head Judge will taste the coffees, and decide the round. This decision is final.

المسابقة مفتوحة للجميع والشرط الوحيد للفائز إمكانية السفر الى البرتغال

Prizes

First place winner will be flown to Portugal for the world finals, full expenses paid. There are other prizes for second and third places from our sponsors.

Competition is open to all, but winner must prove their passport allows them entry to Portugal.
