Սիրով հրավիրում ենք AHA collective-ի նոր ցուցադրությանը՝ նվիրված ինքնատիպ արվեստագետ և մտավորական Հերման Վահրամեանի գրաֆիկական աշխատանքներին (Թեհրան, 1939 – Միլան, 2009): Այս պատմական իրադարձությունը նշանավորում է Վահրամեանի արվեստին նվիրված առաջին ցուցադրությունը Հայաստանում: Ճարտարապետ, նկարիչ, քանդակագործ, գրաֆիկ դիզայներ, մամուլի նկարազարդող, գրող, խմբագիր, հրատարակիչ, «Մտքի Սփյուռքի» և գլոբալացման դարաշրջանում «Գաճաճ մտածողության» տեսաբան Հերման Վահրամեանը 20-րդ դարավերջի Եվրոպայում հայկական սփյուռքի ամենաառանձնահատուկ դեմքերից էր։Որպես պատմական մեկնարկային ցուցադրություն Հայաստանում, AHA collective-ը ներկայացնում է Հերման Վահրամեանի 1970-1980-ականների վաղ գրաֆիկական աշխատանքների ընտրանի: Ամենապարզ նյութերով` A4 թղթով և տուշով, Վահրամեանը ձեռնամուխ եղավ արևելյան փիլիսոփայության և պարսկական և հայկական քաղաքակրթությունների մշակութային տարրերի խոր ուսումնասիրություններին: Ցուցադրության մեջ ներկայացված աշխատանքների ամբողջությունը մարմնավորում է կարգուկանոնի հոգևոր-մետաֆիզիկական սկզբունքը, որը բնորոշ է արևելյան մշակույթին, որտեղ գծերն ու ձևերը միահյուսվում են դատարկության հետ՝ ոչ երբեք զուտ պարապության, այլ` հոգևոր շեմի, անցում դեպի տրանսցենդենցիան: Այս դատարկությունը կամ բացասական տարածությունը նույնքան առկա է պարսկական գեղագրության արվեստում, որտեղ այն նույնքան նշանակություն ունի, որքան գրավոր բառերը, որքան ճարտարապետության և պարսկական պարտեզների արվեստում, որտեղ դատարկ տարածքները, բաց տաղավարներն ու ջրանցքները դառնում են կառուցվածքային բացակայություններ՝ արտացոլելով տիեզերքի աստվածային կարգը և շարժումը տեսանելիի ու անտեսանելիի, նյութի և հոգևորի միջև։ Ճարտարապետի ճշգրտությամբ, ով լքել է շինհրապարակը իր A4 թղթի տարածքները կառուցելու համար, Վահրամեանի վաղ սև-սպիտակ աբստրակցիաները տարիների ընթացքում զարգանում են նույն ճշգրտութամբ՝ ընդարձակվելով ծավալով և գույնով, կարմիր, ոսկեգույն և այլ լուսավոր երանգների հակակշիռներով:

We are delighted to invite you to our new gallery exhibition dedicated to the graphic works of prolific artist and intellectual Herman Vahramian (Tehran, 1939 – Milan, 2009). This historical event marks the first-ever exhibition of his art in Armenia. Architect, painter, sculptor, graphic designer, press illustrator, writer, editor, publisher, theorist of the “Diaspora of the Mind” and the “Dwarf Thinking” in the age of globalization, Herman Vahramian was one of the most original figures of the Armenian diaspora in the late 20th century in Europe.
As a historic debut exhibition in Armenia, AHA collective presents a selection of Herman Vahramian’s early graphic works from the 1970s and 1980s. With only the simplest materials, A4 paper and Indian ink, Vahramian undertook a rigorous exploration deeply rooted in Eastern philosophy and the cultural elements of Persian and Armenian civilizations. The body of work presented at the gallery embodies the spiritual-metaphysical principle of order inherent in Eastern culture, where lines and forms interweave with the void—never mere emptiness, but a sacred threshold, a passage to transcendence. This void, or negative space, is as present in Persian calligraphic art, where it holds as much significance as the written words, as it is in architecture and Persian gardens, where empty spaces, open pavilions, and water channels become structured absences, reflecting the divine order of the universe and the movement between the seen and unseen, the material and the spiritual. With the precision of an architect who left the construction site to compose his A4 paper sites, Vahramian’s early black-and-white abstractions evolve over the years with the same rigor, expanding in volume and color, punctuated by counterpoints of red, gold, and other luminous tones.

Graphic design: Sargis Antonian, who, through this exhibition reveals his typographic tribute «Herman», honouring the formative influence Vahramian’s work had on his education and design thinking.
