*english version below*27 лютого PinchukArtCentre представить виставку «Згадати той день коли» — групову виставку українських митців, яка представляє твори з колекції PinchukArtCentre та новостворені роботи.
Вхід вільний. Виставка працюватиме до 15 серпня 2021 року.
«Згадати той день коли» демонструє блискавичну швидкість, з якою Україна змінювалася протягом останніх трьох десятиліть. Ця історія — складна, нелінійна та суперечлива. В ній представлені українці різних поколінь, які знаходяться між (небажаним) минулим і непевним майбутнім; між свободою, демократичними цінностями, відкритістю та потребою боротися проти внутрішніх та зовнішніх ворогів, корупції та браку прозорості.
«Згадати той день коли» зіставляє роботи різних поколінь, охоплених цією боротьбою, тими, хто працює над темами відчуження, колективної тривоги та історії, як антиутопічної провісниці майбутнього. Роботи останніх років неможливо розглядати, не згадавши та не переживши заново Перебудову чи бурхливі 90-ті роки. При цьому, виставка пропонує поглянути на історичні роботи через спектр сьогоднішніх соціополітичних викликів.
«Згадати той день коли» — це перший проєкт нової серії виставок, за основу яких взято колекцію українського мистецтва PinchukArtCentre. Ці виставки об'єднуватимуть роботи з колекції, яка в основному зосереджена на мистецтві 90-х та початку 2000-х років, з новими спеціально створеними чи наданими для виставки нещодавніми роботами.
Виставка представить роботи Юлії Бєляєвої, Сергія Браткова, Олега Голосія, Анни Звягінцевої, Саші Курмаза, Павла Макова, Олександра Ройтбурда, Олега Тістола, Романа Хімея та Яреми Малащука, Лесі Хоменко та Василя Цаголова.

On February 27, PinchukArtCentre presents «Remember Yesterday», a group exhibition of Ukrainian artists presenting works from the PinchukArtCentre’s collection and new production.
Entrance free. Exhibition is on the view till 15th of August, 2021.
«Remember Yesterday» points to the lightening speed in which Ukraine has changed in the last three decades. It’s story is complex, non-linear and contradictory. It inhabits Ukrainians across generations and is stuck between an (unwanted) past and an uncertain future, between freedom, democratic values, open-mindedness and the need to defend against internal and external enemies, corruption and lack of transparency.
«Remember Yesterday» juxtaposes works across generations, all inhabited by this struggle, tackling subjects such as generational alienation, collective anxiety and history as a dystopian forbearer of the future. Recent works cannot be seen without remembering and reliving perestroika or the turbulent 90ties. While at the same time, the exhibition invites to look at historical works through the spectrum of today's socio-political challenges.
«Remember Yesterday» is the first in a new series of exhibitions that draw from the PinchukArtCentre’s Ukrainian art collection. The shows will combine works from the collection, which has a main focus on the 90ties and early 2000, with new productions and or loans of recent work.
The exhibition will present the artworks by Julia Beliaeva, Sergey Bratkov, Oleg Holosiy, Roman Khimei and Yarema Malashchuk, Lesia Khomenko, Sasha Kurmaz, Pavlo Makov, Oleksandr Roytburd, Oleg Tistol, Vasyl Tsagolov, and Anna Zvyagintseva.
