Story:
The Soviet–Afghan War took place in the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan from December 1979 to February 1989. It saw the Soviet Union and the Afghan military fight against the rebelling Afghan Mujahideen. While they were backed by various countries and organizations, the majority of the mujahideen's support came from Pakistan, the United States (as part of Operation Cyclone), the United Kingdom, China, Iran, and the Arab states of the Persian Gulf, in addition to a large influx of foreign fighters known as the Afghan Arabs.
The Year is 1988 and the Mujahideen are growing stronger. A New intake of VDV fighters is put under the command of experienced Officers and NCO's in another attempt at securing and holding "The Heights" so that releif columns can pass un-harassed.
Objectives:
• Soviet Troops must SECURE and DEFEND the "Heights".
• Muhajids must HARASS and DEFEAT Soviet Forces.

Soviet Forces:

Mujahideen:
• All Mujadhideen Impressions
• Period weapons and Theatre correct weapons.
e.g. No Barrett .50 Sniper Rifles.
• Ammo limits apply
Ages 13-16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Prices:
• Full Weekend Event - £95. £30 deposit to secure place, full payment upon signing in at event.
• Single day - £50. £30 deposit to secure place, full payment upon signing in at event.
• Sniper Roles (4 slots per side)
• Medics Roles (2 Slots per side)
Rental Kits:
• Rental Bolt Action Rifles £30 per rifle for the weekend.

Ration Cards:
• Meal Tickets will NOT be available.

Fri:
• 1600hrs - Gates Open
• 1800hrs - Social
Sat:
• 0700hrs - Gates Open
• 0800hrs - Booking in & Chrono
• 0900hrs - Photographs!
• 0930hrs - Safety Brief
• 1000hrs - Game Start
• 1230hrs - Lunch in the field
• 1330hrs - Game Commence
• 1700hrs - Social Starts
Sun:
• 0700hrs - Gates Open
• 0800hrs - Booking in & Chrono
• 0930hrs - Safety Brief
• 1000hrs - Game Start
• 1230hrs - Lunch in the field
• 1330hrs - Game Commence
• 1600hrs - Latest Endex Sunday
As mentioned before, not adhering to these timings has previously lead to delays. From this event onwards the scheduled events will take place as stated below. The game will start without YOU. YOU will then wait for us to give you a safety brief and chrono before you can play.
If you have a long drive, please allocate extra time in your journey to allow for extra traffic or road closures.
Refunds:
Refunds on event tickets are non refundable if you do not wish to attend, however, if Frontline Events Ltd must cancel an event refunds WILL be issued.
