Team Greens in collaboration with the Ħaż-Żebbuġ Local Council would like to invite all clubs and their members for the first edition of the Ħaż-Żebbuġ Cycling Race powered by WURTH which will be held in Ħaż-Żebbuġ on Sunday 13th April 2025. We are excited to organise a new race with an original road racing circuit with a 7.5km loop through the Ħaż-Żebbuġ countryside. We thank the Ħaż-Żebbuġ Local Council together with WURTH for their financial support. Without their support this event would not be possible to organise.

Other info:
* This event is being organised following MCF race regulations.
* MCF race numbers are to be used.
* Lapped riders may be stopped from the race if ordered by race officials
* No Team cars will be allowed on circuit however team helpers with spare wheels can be positioned anywhere on the circuit.
* Feeding is allowed from anywhere on the circuit as long as it is safe to do so.
* Feeding is to be made on the left hand side of the road only.
* Circuit will be closed to traffic. We will make every effort to keep the circuit car free however be careful to any existing parked car.
* Traffic rules are to be followed and riders are to stay on the side of normal traffic flow.
* We will have marshals in strategic points however it is the riders’ responsibility to race in a safe manner without taking excessive risks in blind corners and/or junctions.
* Team Greens will not take any responsibility for reckless and dangerous race conduct.
* The race is part of the MCF race calendar and may be subject to anti-doping controls.
* There will be different starting times for three different groups namely: Elite and Juniors (X), Masters, 50+ & 60+, Ladies. Each group is not allowed to draft/assist other groups.
* Electronic chip timing will be used at this event. Please see separate instructions.
A prize ceremony will be held shortly after the finish. We invite everyone to remain in the area for the presentation. Prizes are as follows
* Elite First three riders
* First Elite Team Classification (taken on first 3 riders of each team)
* Juniors First three riders
* Ladies First three riders
* Masters First three riders
* U15 First three Boys & Girls
* Nurseries Token to all
