With lots of support and encouragement, I (Ü Lee) decided to host my very first summer festival from Aug 12 to Aug 18 (9AM-3PM with options to extend into 8AM-5PM on the weekdays. Sat 3PM-5PM is the showcase of what students have learned and created)The course is prioritized for children K-5.
18 kids max. (There are 13 spots open for now)
Here is the daily structure:
9AM-9:50AM music theory, math, make and feel pitches and rhythms (10 min break)
10AM-10:50AM Movement, physical, acting, and brain games, the useful tool of story making (10 min break)
11AM-11:50AM Use Scratch(MIT) and musical and dance video games to have fun and experience the combination of music with technology
11:50AM-1PM Lunch break
1PM-1:50PM Music and languages, spelling and phonetic symbols... (10 min break)
2PM-2:50PM Solos and ensembles with voices and instruments (10 min clean up)
3PM regular release time
Aug 18 (Sat) 3PM Showcase of the week
Optional hours daily:
8AM-9AM Music story time and music appreciation
3PM-5PM Free Jam, animation and underscoring, Q&As...
Fees: (Venmo, Zelle, or cash)
8AM-5PM $250 per child
9AM-3PM $200 per child
