Tá 38 leabhar scríofa aici - pictiúrleabhair, drámaí do pháistí, scéalta agus úrscéalta do Iéitheoirí óga agus do dhéagóirí, cnuasaigh filíochta do pháistí agus do dhaoine fásta. Bhí sí mar Laureate na nÓg ó 2020 go dtí 2023. Chaith sí roinnt blianta mar mhúinteoir meánscoile ach d'éirigh sí as le bheith ina hiriseoir le RTÉ agus Raidió na Gaeltachta. Tá go leor gradam buaite aici. Bronnadh Gradam Réics Carló Leabhar na Bliana, Gradam Ficsin Leabhair Pháistí Éireann agus Gradam Leabhar na Bliana de chuid Chumann Litearthachta na hÉireann ar Daideo. Bronnadh Gradam Ibby ar Brionglóidí agus tá go leor duaiseanna eile buaite aici dá saothar drámaíochta agus filíochta agus dá húrscéalta do pháistí.


Áine Ní Ghlinn is one of lreland's finest poets, her work praised by Theo Dorgan as ’direct, human, insightful, witty and sometimes wicked, always compassionate and brave.’ Áine has had a distinguished and prolific career, covering poetry, fiction, nonfiction, radio broadcasting and drama. She has won numerous accolades including the Réics Carló Irish Language Children's Book of the Year Award and the Patrick Kavanagh Fellowship for Poetry. From 2020 to 2023 she was the Arts Council's Laureate na nÓg, the first children's literature laureate to write exclusively in Irish.

Tonight IMRAM is proud to present Áine in conversation about her remarkable life and work with critic and writer Professor Michael Cronin.
