¿Estás listo para disfrutar de una aventura en la naturaleza para avistar algunas de las aves más llamativas del Pacífico Noroeste?
Acompaña a Vive NW en colaboración con el Columbia Land Trust y Bird Alliance of Oregon el próximo viernes, 31 de mayo y admira la belleza de las aves de la región del Columbia Gorge.
Comenzaremos en el área natural de Howard Canyon, un sendero considerado fácil de 2 millas ida y vuelta, apto para toda la familia. Caminaremos a través de paisajes boscosos, con abetos, cedros rojos, y una gran variedad de plantas nativas de la región. Durante la caminata tendremos la oportunidad de observar una gran variedad de especies de aves, como pájaros carpinteros, reyezuelos, zorzales y muchas más.
Se parte de una día increíble de exploración y aprende más sobre aves y su hábitat natural.

Are you ready to embark on another bird-watching adventure to see some of the PNW's most striking birds? Join Vive NW as we partner with the Columbia Land Trust, Bird Alliance of Oregon, Oregon Coalition of Land Trusts, and Bird Alliance of Oregon on Friday, May 31st, to see some of the amazing birds in our areas.
Our day takes us to the Howard Canyon Natural Area for a gentle, 2-mile out-and-back trail through incredible forests and striking landscapes. This beautiful stand of Doug fir and Western red cedar is located near Corbett and was conserved by Columbia Land Trust in 2022 after decades of work with local landowners. Our day offers the opportunity to see various bird species, including Chestnut-backed Chickadee, Pacific Wren, Red-breasted Sapsucker, and Swanson’s Thrush.
Join us for this incredible day of exploring and interacting with our local ecosystems in an entirely new way.
This 2-mile hike is considered easy and perfect for families and participants interested in bird watching.
Your $25 ticket includes transportation, an experienced guide, bird-watching tours, photo-taking, and the chance to meet new friends.
