We are over the moon to be bringing you, all the way from Bogotá, Colombia – LOS FUCKIN SURFER SMOKERS – as part of their 2025 UK and European Tour!Los Fuckin Surfer Smokers is a ‘trío de poder fuerte’ from Bogotá, Colombia, that fuses Cumbia, Chicha Psicodélica with Surf, Rockabilly, Swing and Rock n´Roll in their own unique way and in the process take their audiences on an aural trips across the Americas through its musical heritage and tropical rhythms.Well known for their live performances, high profile musicians from Colombia have participated over the bands different line-ups adding up rich and varied musical flavours, that gives Los Fuckin Surfer Smokers their own musical essence.What’s not to like and what can we say!? It’s gonna be wild!!!

He curates vibrant musical journeys that seamlessly blend the soulful traditions of latin music and flavours with worldwide sounds and grooves. Expect cumbia, salsa, brazilian, afrobeat, rare grooves and everything in between, a Melting Pot of sounds.

In that time BtbC has become a mainstay of Mexico’s underground scene, throwing wild club nights up and down the country. The duo – now based in La Paz, on Mexico’s Baja California peninsula – has also taken their savage sound around the world, spinning everywhere from sweaty dive bars to full-on festivals.For Sonido Sabroso, they’ll be packing a hard-hitting arsenal of Latin American dancefloor dynamite on original 45rpm records, hand-picked from the streets of Mexico City, Havana, Bogotá, Lima and beyond: minor-key mambo, gritty boogaloo, psychedelic cumbia, garage en español, and more frenetic maraca-shakin’ rhythms!

Established 2021 in Brighton ¡Sonido Sabroso! is the culmination of his 25+ year exploration and love affair with Latin music. DJ Señor Smith, aka Neil Sick (STAY SICK Brighton), has spent many hours, days and weeks overseas scouring Latin record shops, second hand stores and market stalls, searching for ‘sabroso’ original vinyl recordings to share at ¡Sonido Sabroso!’s monthly Latin party at The Great Eastern, Brighton.Expect a rich blend of traditional, mid 20th century, tropical sounds mixed with more contemporary recordings including Cumbia, Chicha, Cumbia Psicodélica, Salsa, Guarache, Afro Latin, Tropical, Latin Soul and more!WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING AND DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY WITH YOU ALL!SPREAD THE WORD MIS AMIGOS!
