¡Mexico Vive!, Mariachi Show comes to the Cavern Theatre Carlsbad, NM – Award winning Mariachi Entertainer and Gallup, NM native announces ¡Mexico Vive! Mariachi Show on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Historic Cavern Theatre in Carlsbad, NM. Show time is set to start at 7:30pm.Antonio Reyna was born in Gallup NM in 1974. In his 29+ years of career Antonio has released 7 studio recordings and has a song book of over 80 recorded songs. He has performed in both The United States and Mexico. As his popularity across Mexico and the demand for his live performances have increased it has made Antonio one of New Mexico’s most beloved artists.
Antonio will be joined on stage by Mariachi Plata, a student ensemble from Western New Mexico University in Silver City and is under the direction of Bryant Chaffino. Mariachi Plata has traveled extensively throughout New Mexico and has shared the stage with Antonio in many of his performances including on the prestigious Santa Fe Opera House stage, with members of Mariachi Raices de America.
As an added thrill to the show, Ballet Folklorico Paso Del Norte, under the direction of Professor Rodolfo Hernandez, will bring the beauty and the energetic sounds of the Mexican Folklore Dance. Professor Hernandez and his company will pay tribute to several Mexican States in both costume and intricate footwork. Each dance is sure to be a memorable one and will engage the audience from start to finish. ¡Mexico Vive! will make The Cavern Theater come to life with the sounds of Mariachi, the brilliant colors of the Ballet Folklorico and the grandeur of Mexican Folklore!
