Starting Monday, August 2nd (FREE OPENING NIGHT) and continuing through every Monday in August!

Don't get me wrong! We absolutely love dancing at Salsa and Bachata venues around San Diego, but sometimes the club setting can be intimidating to new dancers. Loud music, everyone seems like they are pros, no one will ask you to dance, sometimes we don't know how to ask someone to dance...I understand...it can get stressful!
.
Our objective is to provide an alternative space for new dancers in the Salsa and Bachata Community to have focused practice, opportunity to ask questions, make mistakes, take notes, and have some fun!
.
We would also like to usher new clients into our social dancing community by teaching them etiquette as well as share local venues around SD that offer Salsa and Bachata dancing.

We will provide light refreshments (juice?, water ?, ? etc.), some scratch paper, groovy tunes, professional feedback from @nandito__6 and @anthonyrblanco for up to five minutes.

We invite the entire San Diego Salsa and Bachata Community of experienced dancers to join us in welcoming newcomers and helping to grow the dancing community in our wonderful city. We will create a welcoming environment that is to foster conversations about dance and growth!

➪ 7:00PM - 7:30PM: Newcomer Bachata Lesson
➪ 7:30PM - 8:00PM: Newcomer Mambo Lesson
➪ 8:00PM - 11:59PM: Open Floor Social Dancing

- Masked required at all times if one if you are not fully vaccinated
- Mask Optional for those fully vaccinated (proof of full vaccination required)

Ánimo is a dance company for dancers looking to gain a better understanding and knowledge of Mambo, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha and Movement. We offer drop-in classes and training teams, Monday through Thursday. Space is limited to ensure a more personalized group class setting.
