This beautiful garden in Poughkeepsie, was lovingly created on the site of a former city dump. With the soil enrichments provided through their own composting efforts, the Zukowski's have worked on this garden for 30 years. Bloom begins at the end of February with a spreading yellow carpet of winter aconites, followed by a rapidly changing palette of spring bulbs, hellebores, primroses, daffodils, tulips and of course hostas.
