Mark your calendars for the 6th annual Zukicon on the Rubicon! This year we’ll be returning to the Rubicon trail Fathers Day weekend for a fun-filled adventure with friends! Meet at the Loon Lake Chalet at 8am on Friday June 14th. We’ll have HAM radio frequencies for those with radios so we can stay connected on the trail. From there, we’ll wheel to camp at Buck Island Lake. We should arrive at Buck around 2pm, depending on trail traffic.
Saturday morning we’ll pack up camp and gather for the raffle at 10am on the dam! Shortly after that we’ll do a group photo, then depart for Rubicon Springs.
We’ll camp in Dirty Dozen at Rubicon Springs on Saturday night. Camping is $20 per rig, and will be collected by the care taker. Please bring cash.
Sunday morning there will be a group that will head back to their trailers at Loon Lake, while the rest of us head out to the Tahoma staging area to complete the trail.
Please bring all your own camping gear and food, and be prepared to pack out what you pack in. We can’t wait to see everyone back for the best event of the year!
