Volunteer Orientation for Education Volunteers: Education Center & Reptile Exhibit
Are you passionate about wildlife education and eager to engage with zoo visitors? Join us for a special Volunteer Orientation to prepare for an important role in the zoo’s education team! We’re seeking volunteers to assist in opening our Education Center and Reptile Exhibit and support educational activities during events and daily operations.

During this orientation, you’ll learn:
- How to open the Education Center for visitors and share engaging information about our animal residents.
- Best practices for presenting educational content and answering questions about reptiles and other animals.
- Tips for assisting with interactive activities that help children and families connect with wildlife.
- How to sign up for volunteer shifts.
Once you complete the orientation, you’ll be ready to open the Education Center and Reptile Exhibit, as well as assist with educational activities, helping to create a memorable experience for our guests.
Volunteer Hours Needed:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10 AM - 12 PM
- Saturdays and Sundays: 10 AM-12PM, 12 PM-2 PM and 2 PM - 4 PM
