Get ready for a spooktacular time at our Inaugural Zombie Fun Run! Saturday, October 19 at 4:30pm. We have designed three thrilling routes to suit participants of all ages and fitness levels:
𝗚𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀- .𝟱𝗞: Perfect for our younger crowd, this route circles the Waggener soccer field. Along the way, kids will encounter friendly Halloween costumes, ensuring a fun and safe experience.
𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀- 𝟮.𝟱𝗞: For those looking for a bit more of a challenge, this 1.5-mile route winds through Waggener's sidewalks, the Turner Middle School yard, and the Waggener Trail.
𝗭𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀- 𝟱𝗞: Our most adventurous route, this path takes runners through Waggener's sidewalks, the Turner Middle School yard and track, and the Waggener trails. Be prepared to face zombies, spooky scares, and the occasional chase, making for an exhilarating experience.
Strollers are welcome on all routes. Please note that the Undead Dashers and Zombie Stompers routes include grassy areas that may present a slight challenge for stroller navigation.
We'll have food trucks, games, and more. Don't forget to dress up in your favorite costume for a chance to win our costume contest.
𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: Family, most creative adult, most creative youth, scariest adult and scariest youth. Enter the contest at the start of the race and winners will be announced at the conclusion of the evening.
