Trail of the Living & the Dead - A Hike for the Half-Decayed and Still Standing
About this Event

Not for the faint at heart or those afraid of what goes bump, crunch, or grrrh in the night!

Step into the shadows for a mythic hike where survivors and zombies roam side by side in search of legendary lore.

Dress as a zombie or come as a survivor—your role determines your creative path. Throughout the hike, you’ll encounter playful prompts and themed “Would You Rather” questions to spark laughter, reflection, and camaraderie. Be ready to share your most creative answer or cleverest survival or zombie tip to earn a sticker!

At the final stop, participants gather for the final sticker count. The Survivor and the Zombie with the most stickers will each win a voucher for a free, regular, future hike! Participation in the circle is mandatory for sticker winners.

Included with registration is a zombie apocalypse themed survival goody bag and free optional oracle card draw from my own created Zombie/Survivor themed deck! The optional card draw will take place after the sticker count.

Spots are extremely limited. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. No resurrections.

If you’ve ever wanted to strut your undead sass or hike your myth by starlight, this is your moment. Come rot, rise, and roam with us.

Survival Guidelines (Yes, even for Zombies)

-Ages 18+ only. No refunds or transfers. A completed waiver must be on file before your hike. You must be physically and medically able to complete the trail safely.

-Dress for the weather. This event proceeds rain or shine—there’s no bad weather, only the wrong clothes. Bring water, snacks, layers, and comfortable shoes or hiking boots. Costumes are welcome but not required.

-Headlamps with RED lights are required—regular white lights interfere with the ambience and ruin the mood for your fellow undead and unbitten.

-Come as you are—undead or unbitten—but bring your best attitude and a sense of humor. This is a hike, not an action sport: no chasing, scaring, or running. Just laughter, lore, and light decay.

-Arrive early to check in, verify waiver and ID, get your gear check and zombie apocalyse survival goody bag. Staff is limited and check-in supplies must be put away before the hike start time. If you miss the zombie apocalypse survival goody bag pick up, you can collect it at the end of the night.

-The hike begins promptly at 7 p.m. (Don't be late—we won't wait for the bitten!) - If you miss the checkin, waiver/ID/gear check, you will not be able to participate and no refund will be provided.

-Our finish hike time is estimated to be about 2 hours. Because this is a guided group hike, the finish time will vary depending on the group's overall pace. Please be flexible with the event timing and remember to allow extra time at the end for winners circle and optional Oracle Card draw.
