Zoe Li is a Chinese erhu player and teacher in Wellington.
Erhu is a Chinese violin which has only two strings. She finished her Bachelor of Music at Wintec, Hamilton in 2019 and Master of Music at Victoria University, Wellington, in 2021. Within her classical career, Zoe has worked with quartets, ensembles, and orchestras all over the world including Beijing string ensemble, WCO orchestra in NZ and Singapore folk orchestra. In 2008, she was invited to play the erhu in the “Bird Nest” performance during the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games.
