Zionism has become a fraught topic at the family dinner table, on campus, and beyond. What does Zionism mean? What is the history of the Jewish people’s connection to the Land of Israel, and how did Zionism emerge as a modern political movement? What is the core definition of Zionism, and what different ideologies does it include? What does it mean to be a progressive Zionist, especially at this moment in time? We will address all these questions and more, in a spirit of genuine inquiry and respect. Register in advance to get a bibliography of recommended reading, and come in person if you can.
