Zion Lutheran Church, 235 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford will hold its Annual Scarecrow Festival on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10am -3pm. This will be a FUN day for the whole family. Free on-site parking and admission. Browse over 30 crafters, check out the scarecrows and listen to our entertainer. Activities include a hayride, kids games, face painting, build your own scarecrow and bounce house. Pick up something delicious from our bake table and enjoy our warm apple fritters. Hamburgers, hot dogs, soup and pizza will be available for lunch. Activities and food have a fee associated with them with all proceeds going to Birthright of Greater Meriden, an organization which provides free, caring and confidential pregnancy support and continued support after the child's birth.
