Emerald Pools trail (3 miles)
As permits allow, I will only take 6 to 18 hikers all the way to the top of the Angels Landing. The rest of the group will hike up to the halfway point until the scout looks out. It costs $10 per hiker for permits. (I show no favoritism so don't ask me to hold your spot without paying)
It costs $2 to be part of this event + $10 if you want to hike to the top of Angels Landing. Only $2 if you intend not to hike to the top of Angels Landing.

Once we get back from Angels Landing (4-mile hike), we will take a small break and head to Emeralds Pool trail (3-mile hike), Both trails have gorgeous views.
Bring sturdy hiking shoes with good ankle support that you don't mind getting wet (might get wet during the Emerald Pool hike), a walking stick or hiking poles, and extra clothing layers for temperature changes, in order to make this hike an enjoyable experience.

Overview
Moderately strenuous but challenging
Drive 3 hrs each way (we lose 1 hr in Utah)
Weather: we will check the weather a day before the hike
Distance: 4.5 miles (Angels Landing) + 3 miles (Emerald Pools trail)
Elevation gain: 1827 Ft (Angels Landing) , 620 Ft (Emerald Pools trail)
Hiking time: ~8 hrs (with pics included)
The Hike
Angels Landing is one of the world's most renowned hikes and is an unforgettable adventure worthy of all bucket lists. The stunning views of Zion Canyon's 270-million-year-old rock layers.
Emerald Pools Trail: There are three Emerald Pools — Upper, Middle, and Lower. The paths to the Lower and Middle Pools are wide sidewalks and easily traveled. The Lower Pool is accessible to people in wheelchairs if they have assistance. The trail from the Middle Pool to the Upper Pool is more difficult, with its uneven sand and rock surface and moderate to strenuous grade.
