ZINE Workshop

Pomona Pride Center’s Zine Workshop aims to publish and promote a quarterly zine. We also aim to distribute some gender affirming materials (like binders and period underwear) to the community on a quarterly basis.

Magazines and other mainstream periodicals have not always been written for the LGBTQIA+ or other minority groups and their special needs. Zines (short for “magazines”) are a historically significant response as a way for our communities to come together and share stories, potentially life-saving information, and our work published as our authentic selves.
