A Zine (pronounced: zeen, which is short for magazine or fanzine) is a self-published booklet that expresses an artist’s thoughts, artwork, or other ideas and uses a variety of mediums. Once the original is created, it is typically photocopied and distributed however the creator sees fit. Come and learn how to create your own small 8-page zine with Millie Tansill. Materials will be provided, but participants should think of subjects and ideas beforehand if possible. Don’t worry – if you aren’t able to create something fully-formed in class, the project is easy to take home and finish there.
