Step 2: bring copies of zine to Art House Sunday Nov 26th from 5-7pm
Step 3: swap zines with other zine makers

How much does it cost to come?
The event is FREE! But if you wanna buy a bevvie and a snack to support the cafe, we won’t say no :)

I’ve never made a mini zine before, is it hard?
Nope! The magic of zines is how accessible and wide ranging they are. See below for some resources and don’t be shy! Some of our favourite zines were made my first timers using 1 sheet of paper and a pen.

How many copies of my zine should I bring?
Once you’ve made your zine, it’s important that you make photocopies to share/swap with other zine makers! How many you copy is totally up to how many you wish to swap/share! We recommend a min. of 5 but you get to decide based on your budget + needs.

Must my zine be in English?
Nope. You can do whatever you want. The more authentic the zine is to you as the maker, the more it will resonate with others. Plus, having any kind of language in your zine is not a requirement.

What should my zine be about?
ANYTHING YOU WANT! Zines can be personal reflections, silly cartoons, a collection of art/photos, a series of doodles, a collage flip book, something instructive, a short story…aaaanything…be creative!
