About this Event
On a cold night, nothing tastes quite as good as a high-octane California Zinfandel. It’s been awhile since we’ve visited our selection of Zins, and there are some tasty new ones on the shelves. Although we have no judgement against White Zinfandel, this class is all about the RED stuff! We’ll be visiting some of the best Zin regions in the state – Lodi, Amador and Sonoma to name a few. And we will taste a variety of different styles. Zinfandel can be made light and fruity, much like French Beaujolais, or lively, complex and age worthy, like Cabernet or claret. It can also be made into big, ripe, high alcohol style wines that resemble Port! We’ll taste through a selection, accompanied by some warming winter foods.
