Take the fierce hardcore punk of Poison Idea, mix in some early eighties Metallica, and, to balance it out, add a touch of Candlemass. Put it all into a blender. As we all know, sound alone isn't everything; you'll need a healthy dose of realistic worldviews, à la Bad Brains, Rudimentary Peni, or even Sepultura, to spice up the outcome. To what extent these influences shape the music of Prophet & Flesh is up to the listener, but one thing is clear: you can't hold a mirror up to people if you limit yourself.
