Hosted by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Florida Central Chapter at the 4Roots Warehouse
Join us on Saturday, September 13th from 8 AM – 1 PM at the 4Roots Warehouse for a free community event where you can shop for free materials, helping keep usable supplies out of landfills! 🌎♻️
Each year, IIDA chapters across the country host Zero Landfill events, collecting surplus materials and samples from design and architecture firms that would otherwise be discarded. These items are then offered free to the community to give them a second life.
This year marks our second annual partnership with IIDA Florida Central to bring Zero Landfill to Orlando, supporting creativity, sustainability, and waste diversion in our community.
Whether you’re an artist, crafter, educator, DIY enthusiast, nonprofit, or just someone who loves to repurpose—you’re welcome to take as much as you can use!
Available Materials Include:
- Paint chips & paint decks
- Ceiling & ceramic tile
- Wood, laminate & solid surface samples
- Fabric & textiles
- Flooring & wallcoverings
- Hardware, magazines, resin & acrylic
- NCIDQ study materials
…and more!
Everything is completely free. We simply ask that you reuse, repurpose, or upcycle your finds.
Bonus: Before or after the event, stop by our monthly Farmers Market at the 4Roots Farm Campus, just around the corner from the warehouse!
