About this Event
1998 was a simpler time. Cellphones had not fully replaced landlines, the internet was new, and the World Trade Center towered over New York. Social media had not yet divided us, and the frutiger aero design schemes brought us promises of a bright future. And then Madonna released "Ray of Light", bringing electronica to the US mainstream, and taking us all to a spiritually driven soundscape that shimmered and bubbled in our ears.
On Novemeber 29th we hope to take you back to 1998, and make you feel like you "just got home", with a concert tribute to Madonna's Ray of Light! You'll hear all the songs in a new sequence, performed by some of New York's finest musical talent, and visually curated to submerge you into a Drowned world. . .
