Need a little relaxation? Join us as we jump into the art of building Zen. Using various woodworking techniques and tools, you will construct a smaller version of a classical Zen table. Tools including the Table saw, Miter saw, Biscuit jointer, and orbital sander will be used. The final product is similar to a wide tray with a recess for sand. If the students advance through the class quickly enough, they will make their own rake for the Zen table. If time is short, then we have some pre-made rakes for you to choose from.
