What to Expect during a Children's Session:
These monthly sessions have been designed to help alleviate the symptoms of stress & anxiety as well as calming the mind, giving you an opportunity to share some quiet time & bond with your child.
We will use a combination of guided meditation, occasional crafting or other interactivity, crystals, mindfulness techniques & breathing techniques which are easy to implement at any time, whether at school or work before moving on to a short meditation
NEURODIVERSE? Does your child need to stim &/or struggle to sit still ? - it's important to keep in mind that mindfulness & meditation isn't all about sitting/laying still... In the darkness... Focusing on your breath & Meditating
Don't get me wrong, if you can do just that or if your child can lay or sit still and is happy to do so - brilliant!!
If they can't, that is also ok too.
Controversial Opinion: Personally, I don't believe children should be sitting still unless they're eating, sleeping, healing or learning - and even then, some of these areas may be a challenge
Mindfulness is about being in the moment and being present - which is why all my children's meditations are recorded - predominantly so I can tip toe around you all dishing out fidget toys for the children who can't "sit/lay still"
No more than two children per adult. Children are welcome to bring a soft toy or blanket - anything that brings them comfort - so long as it doesn't make sounds or is electrical
 PJ's welcome!!
