Explore the night sky with our iconic Zeiss Telescope!Step into our historic telescope dome for a guided tour of the cosmos. Available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (weather permitting), these intimate sessions offer a rare opportunity to peer deep into space through the Zeiss telescope - the largest public telescope in Aotearoa New Zealand.
On clear nights, you'll observe four to five deep-space objects — from star clusters and nebulae to the rings of Saturn — brought to life with expert commentary from our astronomy team. It's a breathtaking experience designed for space lovers.
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
Capacity: Limited to 10 people per session (bookings essential)
Age: 14 years and older
Be sure to wrap up warm as the Zeiss dome opens up to the outside and can be cold in the winter months.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session begins
