About this Event

Zan Fiskum is an americana singer-songwriter raised in the small town of Maple Valley, WA where she spent most of her time either running barefoot in the forest or volunteering with her family at a local dinner theater,  both of which inspired her to make the music she is today. Her angelic voice soars over her soulful and ethereal storytelling. Reminiscent of artists Laura Marling and Brandi Carlile, she blends the lines between adult contemporary and americana/folk as she writes about the intricacies of family dynamics, connection to the natural world, and love. She made her national debut on season 18 of NBC’s The Voice finishing as a top 9 finalist which spearheaded her two self-released records with over 3 million digital streams. Zan has gone on to tour nationally and open for The Avett Brothers, Prateek Kudah, Mon Rova as well as share the stage with John Legend, Dave Mathews.

Joseph Pennell is a singer songwriter and Pacific Northwest native who has been involved in music since the age of five. Beginning his musical journey with classical piano, and expanding through brass jazz performance, he has since pushed his focus to guitar, songwriting and arrangement in the indie folk and roots genres. His writing reflects on human relationships, hardships and growth and is accompanied by layered guitar parts to carry gentle and powerful vocals. A finish carpenter by trade and father of two, most days he can be found with family, building something, or writing/recording in his home project studio The Reading Room.
