Where the Children Take Us is a remarkable true story of a Nigerian - British family whose life commenced in tragedy , first with the death of the father, and near death of his son, the 11 year old future Oscar nominated actor Chiwetel Ejiofor. Watching her family fall apart, especially witnessing the deterioration of the behaviour of Chiwetel’s older brother, it's the story of a mother's resolution to dedicate her life to helping her kids overcome their tragedy and maximise their potential in the world. We will cheer for her as she suceeds in making her four children productive citizens of the world...Chiwetel, the author, and Zain Asher, became an Oxford and Columbia educated CNN anchor, and the two siblings becoming a doctor and a successful entrepreneur.

She has interviewed countless world leaders, newsmakers and CEOs for the program. Prior to CNN, she was a reporter at MONEY magazine and a freelance reporter at News 12 The Bronx.
