BIO:
Zach Sorkin is a jazz drummer, composer, and pianist from Chicago, Illinois. As of 2024, he is 19 years old and has been actively performing and composing music.
Sorkin has showcased his talents at various venues and events. On November 5, 2024, he presented a set of his own compositions mixed with covers and standards at the Oliver Colvin Recital Hall in Boston, Massachusetts.
In January 2025, Sorkin is scheduled to perform with his quartet at Uncommon Ground in Chicago. The performance will feature primarily original compositions influenced by both classic and contemporary jazz, as well as other genres.
Sorkin shares his music through various online platforms. His YouTube channel features original compositions such as "North Shore" and "Progression,"
demonstrating his skills as both a drummer and composer.
