Zach McCraw is a Winston-Salem based artist, curator and musician, with ties to the early-2000s underground Werehouse art scene. Zach continues to keep the eclectic and esoteric spirit of the city alive, pouring into projects like the Culture studio space he founded and the burgeoning electronic music scene he’s currently building. Zach began to make digital paintings in 2017, and soon developed a voice in the medium, crafting a liquid language, insanely colorful, visceral and surreal. In his current exhibit “s h a p e s h i f t e r” Zach brings 14 works to the West Salem Art Hotel. Join us at the reception on Thursday Jan. 15 from 6-8pm, with background tunes provided by MikRo.wav, Zach’s DJ alias.
