About the workshop : The Truth Doesn’t Have to Hurt
Scared to tell the whole truth? Is it even your truth to tell? Emelia had to grapple with these questions in her memoir ’Skid Dogs' as the people she’s speaking about are alive and she bumps into them at the grocery store.
In the writing, Emelia surprised herself. Sometimes telling the truth isn’t the smartest or bravest choice. There’s a more evocative option.
Q&A session and writing workshop about brutal honesty, responsibility and conscience when telling your story. We will discuss each attendees personal concerns. We will practice together. Bring writing implements.
