Enjoy a weekend of festive events at Old York Historical Society!Get a head start on your holiday shopping at our first-ever Yuletide market featuring local makers, including The Beach Rose, Foxglove Farmhouse, Kristin Fuhrmann-Simmons, Kristy Cavaretta, NK Ceramics, Pinetree Pop-Up, Slack Tide Sea Salt, Thirdlee & Co., and The Green Paper Flower.
Thursday, December 5
The Yuletide market opens with a preview night from 5 to 7 pm. While you shop, enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly, and nibbles by Galley Provisions. Specialty cocktails available for a small fee (with all proceeds benefitting Old York).
Friday, December 6
Anika Wilson of Bad Rabbit Flowers hosts a wreath making workshop from 11am to 2 pm. Registration available HERE.
The Yuletide market continues from 2 to 7pm.
Saturday, December 7
The Yuletide market continues from 10am to 4pm.
Kristen Fuhrmann-Simmons, hosts a watercolor class from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Registration required.
Our littlest friends are invited from 2 to 4pm, before the Festival of Lights parade, for a free afternoon of children’s crafts with Nola Cady, story time, and a hot chocolate bar (donations gladly accepted). We will be joined by several guest readers for a festive story time, including Melanie Kyer, author of The Great Holiday Cookie Swap.
And after the parade, kids are invited to visit with Santa (sponsored by York Parks and Recreation).
Sunday, December 8
The weekend concludes with a Yuletide concert with Castlebay. Registration required.
