As the Wheel of the Year turns to its darkest point, we gather to create beautiful Yule logs that symbolize the returning light and the eternal cycle of seasons.
During this experience, you'll learn about the rich history and folklore of this ancient custom that spans cultures and centuries, while crafting your own Yule log using traditional methods and materials.
Jessie will explore the symbolism of evergreens, and other classic Yuletide elements as you decorate your creations, and discuss the meaningful ways this tradition has connected people to the natural rhythms of the earth throughout history.
Perfect for families, individuals, or anyone seeking to deepen their connection to seasonal traditions, this workshop offers a peaceful respite from the commercial holiday rush and an opportunity to connect with the true spirit of the season. All materials provided, along with warming winter refreshments.
Each participant will take home their handcrafted Yule log to serve as a beautiful centerpiece or to use in their own solstice celebrations, along with printed informational handouts.
