❄️ Delftwood’s Annual Yule ❄️A Norse Jól Celebration
The nights grow long, and the folk of Delftwood gather once more for our Annual Baronial Yule. Delftwood’s Yule is a time of cheer, of song, and of sharing hall and hearth. Join us, and help drive back the dark of winter with laughter, skill, and good fellowship.
This year, our hall will echo the spirit of a Norse Jól, with hearty food, skaldic song, and the fellowship of kin and clan.
Date: Saturday, December 6, A.S. LX (2025)

A Norse-inspired midday feast, prepared by THL Glenna Cholmondeley, will be served at midday in the fellowship hall. During the courses, competitors for the Baronial Bardic Championship will perform as our hall skalds, entertaining all in the manner of a Viking feast.
Three competitions will take place during this event:
• Peace Tourney – Delftwood’s traditional winter Arts & Sciences challenge, open to all.
Baronial Arts & Sciences Championship – for those who would carry Delftwood’s mantle of skill.
Baronial Bardic Championship – performed during feast, as in the halls of the North, Their Excellencies Baron Þórbjǫrn inn hávi and Baroness Oðindísa Býkona will hold Baronial Court, where honors shall be given and champions declared.
Most Norse Garb Competition
Do you look ready to raid, trade, or feast in the longhall?
Show us your best Norse kit — from simple villager to proud jarl. Judges will be watching for authenticity, craftsmanship, and spirit of the North.
Judging: Throughout the day.
Award: The worthiest will receive special recognition and a prize worthy of a true Norseman.
There will also be a Merchants’ Jól Market, offering goods and crafts for winter’s needs, and Games & Fellowship for both the young and young at heart.
There is a free parking lot at the site as well as available street parking. The site is one floor, at ground-level, so the entire site is wheelchair accessible. It is completely indoors, but due to the date in December and depending on the weather, all attendants might want to wear warm garb.

Pets are not permitted on site – only Service Animals as permitted by the ADA.
