Join us Friday November 14th for our Yu-Gi-Oh! Holiday Charity Event! This event will replace our normal Friday night event this day. This will be a special event in which each player must bring 5 non perishable canned food items as entry into the event. There is no additionally entry fee outside the canned goods. All of the canned goods will be donated to a local charity here in Dayton. (NLG will have some additional canned goods to donate for any players who cannot provide any)
Each player will exchange their 5 canned goods for 5 "Star Chips".
(No that is not the loyalty rewards star chips) These are imaginary star chips that will be wagered during each duel just like in Battle City. At the end of 5 Rounds of swiss, players will receive Booster packs for each Star chip the have. For example, if you are 5-0, you started with 5 chips, and won 5 from your opponents, you will receive 10 packs. If you are 2-3, you started with 5 chips, won 2 more, and then lost 3, you would receive 4 booster packs. Here is the entire breakdown.
5-0 = 10 packs
4-1 = 8 packs
3-2 = 6 packs
2-3 = 4 packs
1-4 = 2 packs
0-5 = 0 packs
Prizing is based upon Standing after Swiss regardless of the number of participants.
