About this Event
PGRs beginning their programme in October 2024 are invited to the Postgraduate Research (PGR) School Induction either on-campus in York on Tuesday 8th October or online via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 10th October. The induction lasts for a full day and aims to provide you with a in-depth start to your research degree.
Please note that you do not need to attend both days as the information will be the same. We ask that you only attend the online induction if you are unable to come to campus.
The induction is facilitated by the PGR School and provides you with an opportunity to meet other PGRs across a range of disciplines, find out what it is like to be a PGR at York St John, and discover the support available to you from across the university.
It is recommended that you attend the full induction, but if you can’t attend, you will be able to access the content online at a later date.
