Nature Connection: Forest Bathing, Meditation & More at Centennial ParkDate: Saturday, May 25th, 2024
Time: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (or later)
Location: Centennial Park (1005 S Centennial Dr, Munster, IN 46321)
Schedule:
3:00 PM: Meet & Greet at the main entrance (near the playground). Get to know each other and set intentions for the gathering.
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Guided forest bathing walk through the park's wooded trails, immersing ourselves in the healing power of nature..
4:30 - 4:45: Tree Hugging: Gently wrap your arms around the tree and rest your cheek against its trunk. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Feel the tree's energy and allow yourself to be present in the moment.
15-minute break: Refresh and relax.
5::00 PM - 5:45 PM: Silent meditation circle in a serene spot by the lake, connecting with our inner selves and the natural world.
15-minute break: Socialize and enjoy the park.
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Sharing circle to reflect, connect, and tell your story.
7:30 PM - 8:00 PM: Free time for exploring, socializing, or enjoying the sunset.

This event is open to all levels of experience.
