YOUTH TAKING FLIGHT - AEROSPACE AND AVIATION Program - WINTER 2025

Youth Taking Flight provides engaging learning experiences for youth ages 12 - 24 in the fields of STEM, Aerospace, and Aviation.

Youth Taking Flight was created to encourage greater diversity and increased participation of youth, as well as young women, in the fields of STEM, Aviation & Aerospace. In response to the growing demand for grads in these fields, we strive to bridge the gap.

Objectives:

1. To equip young people to become lifelong learners and develop essential and transferable 21st-century skills to succeed in a rapidly changing, globalized economy.

2. To provide affordable/ subsidized programs that will encourage youth participation regardless of economic status.

For 2025.

Sessions will include the following:

• Introduction to Aerospace & Aviation
• Drone Flight
• Special Guest STEM, Aerospace & Aviation Professionals

• Paper Airplane Challenge
• Group Wellness Sessions
• Field Trips

• Flight Simulator Instructional
• Job Readiness Training
• In-field Flight (FLY DAY) and More

Daily refreshments provided. Field trip to Toronto Airport.

(Please Note: Participants selected are responsible to pay entrance fees for all field trips & all transportation charges as well as an administration fee of $250.00)
