The Santa Cruz County Youth Symphony, under the direction of Nathaniel Berman, is excited to present a program that includes two movements from Dvořák's beautiful New World Symphony, as well as Sibelius’s Karelia Overture, and a popular favorite: highlights from the musical Wicked. Violinist Otis Ragen-Andrews, one of the winners of our Concerto Competition last spring, will perform Massenet’s gorgeous Meditation from Thaïs.
An ensemble from our Chamber Music Academy opens the concert.
Tickets are just $5 for youth ages 18 and younger. Adult tickets $20, seniors $15, college students $10.
