Youth Summer Mission Trip - Want to sign up? This summer’s youth mission trip will return to Plymouth, NC, partnering once again with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry. Youth completing 8th grade and older may participate. The cost per person will be $200. Register by April 13th on Realm with a $100 deposit to secure your spot.
Glen Mar’s youth mission trips are relational ministry with construction on the side. We’ll spend the week building relationships with the homeowners we’re assisting and amongst ourselves, while also building our relationship with God. During the day we’ll work in crews of adults and youth from Glen Mar and other churches on home repairs for low-income homeowners. In the evening we’ll have downtime to build relationship with other trip participants.
There are three required training dates:
--Saturday, March 9, 11 am – 1 pm – Q&A session for first time participants
--Saturday, April 13, 11 am – 1 pm – Team-building and relational training
--Saturday, June 1, 9 am – 12 pm – Tool and safety training
